Dr. Matt Piszczek is an Associate Professor of Management at the Mike Ilitch School of Business at Wayne State University. He received his Ph.D. in Industrial Relations and Human Resources from Michigan State University.
His research program is focused on the adoption and effects of family-related and age-related human resource management practices with a focus on how these practices can promote individual well-being. His research also examines how individuals manage and make sense of work and family roles.
Dr. Piszczek’s research has been published in numerous academic journals, including Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management Review, Industrial and Labor Relations Review, Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology, and Human Relations as well as Harvard Business Review.
He serves on the editorial review board for Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology, and Journal of Managerial Psychology.
