Amy Kalista is a dynamic and innovative leader with over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. A graduate in Biochemistry with a Master’s in Public Health, she brings a rich and diverse background that spans from QC Microbiology and Regulatory Affairs to strategic leadership in HR. Currently, at Sanofi, Amy is the People & Culture Transversal Project Lead for North America and Specialty Care, where she leads cross-functional projects designed to enhance employee access and opportunities for career development.
As an influencer and women’s advocate, Amy served as the Co-Lead of the NJ Chapter for Women Inspiring Sanofi Excellence (WISE), helping to advance the impact and influence of women at Sanofi. A captivating and insightful speaker, Amy has delivered talks on intersectionality, mentorship, gender parity, workplace allyship, and cultural sensitivity in healthcare. Last year, she participated as a panelist at Sanofi’s DE&I Trust, Inclusion, and Equity Summit, where she discussed strategies for improving LGBTQ+ interactions and patient relations within the healthcare industry.
A passionate advocate for mental health and LGBTQ+ rights, Amy draws from her own experiences to mentor and support individuals both at work and in her community. As a member of the PrideConnect ERG Leadership Team, she created an LGBTQ+ mentorship program for high school and college students aimed at empowering them on their personal, academic, and career journeys. Beyond her professional achievements, Amy is a proud spouse and mother of three who continually strives to balance the demands of a successful career with the joys and challenges of parenting.
