Lucy Del Gaudio is a strong advocate for veterans in the State of New Jersey. She served as the founding Co-Chair for the NJ SOS Veterans Stakeholders Women Sub Committee. Under Lucy’s tenure, the Sub Committee was instrumental in New Jersey establishing June 12th as Women Veteran Appreciation Day. She’s the recipient of the 2019 Women Veteran of the Year – New Jersey SOS Veterans Stakeholders. The Township of Weehawken, NJ named Lucy the first female Grand Marshall (in the 87th year history) of their 2018 Memorial Day Parade. She serves as a board member of Community Hope. Lucy also serves as a Service Academy Interviewer for Senator Bob Menendez and Senator Cory Booker. She currently serves as the Volunteer Chief Operating Officer of The Pink Berets.
Lucy is part of the grassroots #MeTooMilitary movement started at the height of the death of Specialist Vanessa Guillen. On July 29, 2020, she testified in front of the House Armed Services Committee: The Military MeToo Movement: https://www.c-span.org/person/?126952/LucyDelGaudio. She was featured in the NETFLIX documentary, “I Am Vanessa Guillen”. She was appointed by Governor Phil Murray to the NJ Commission for Women Veterans and appointed by Veteran Affairs Secretary Dennis McDonough to the Workgroup for Sexual Harassment/Sexual Assault.
Formerly with Prudential - she was the recipient of the 2016, 2019 and 2021 Employee Volunteer of the Year Award and recipient of the Points of Light Service Award. She was named to the Points of Light 2022 Inspirational Honor Roll. She is also one of Prudential’s first 50 Hispanic Stars – from the We Are Human Campaign.
