Mari Marques-Thomas is Vice President of Impact & Belonging at Crum & Forster (C&F), a provider of property and casualty, accident and health, and specialty insurance. She develops and leads the company’s Impact & Belonging strategy. Her work connects employee engagement, culture, and social impact through initiatives and partnerships that support C&F’s values and business objectives.
Mari’s career spans hospitality operations, human resources, talent development, and organizational change. Before joining C&F, she held executive leadership roles at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, where she led initiatives in talent, learning and development, and corporate social responsibility.
Mari is committed to creating environments where people feel a sense of belonging and have opportunities to contribute and grow. She believes meaningful connections within the workplace and across communities are central to that work.
Mari serves as Chair of the Morris County Chamber of Commerce’s Inclusivity Advisory Council and as a member of the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation’s IDEA Council. She also serves on the boards of the Tri-County Scholarship Fund and the County College of Morris Foundation, supporting educational access and opportunity.
Her upbringing in Newark, New Jersey, and her multicultural family shaped her commitment to learning, inclusion, and community.
